Where can affiliates log-in?
Affiliates can log-in to the Affiliate Admin Section.
Here affiliates can access their Sales Reports, Create Links, use the SellDirect feature, and also access any Special Offers or Coupon Codes that you have activated for them.
Do visitors from affiliates get cookied and if so for how long?
Solution: The system uses cookies that are persistent, which means that if any visitor to a partner site returns and purchases anything within 30 days of the first visit the affiliate receives their commission.
Also, if a visitor clicks through on a specific title the affiliate will still receive their full affiliate commission even if the visitor purchases a completely different title. For example, if a person clicks through on a link to Title A, but then ends up buying titles B, C and D, the affiliate will receive their full commission on the total order value (i.e. Title A plus Title B plus Title C).
Can we track which affiliates have generated each sale?
Solution: When a customer makes their first purchase on your site, the affiliate that gets the credit is the most recent affiliate to send them to the site (unless it was over a month ago, in which case no affiliate is credited)
This affiliate then becomes the "master" affiliate for that customer which will never change.
If the customer then buys through a different affiliate, the second affiliate only gets credit for that purchase.
The customer will always remain linked to the original referrer.
